Nimisha Verma (ITC)

Hey people! Great to meet you! My name is Nimisha. I am a first year student at Faculty of ITC, UT specializing in Geoinformatics . Apart from my studies, I am also the president for UniTe, the umbrella association for the World Sector at the university and the Academic Commissioner for Student Association Board(SAB) at ITC. During my time with UniTe and SAB, I have been part of various platforms like Platform for Internaitonal Affairs(PIA) and discussions about student well being, inclusion and diversity etc. Being in these position, I understood that there is more to the university than just being a student. I joined UReka because I wanted to contribute towards the betterment of student life at the university. As a candidate for the University council, I want to contribute towards the policy-making which focuses on building an environment which is inclusive, focuses on the overall wellbeing and where students feel welcomed.
